The Terms, in Full
No fine print buried in a PDF. This is the whole guarantee, exactly as it applies to every report we deliver.
- 1The guarantee applies where an approved SMSF auditor declines to accept the report as sufficient appropriate evidence of market value for the purposes of regulation 8.02B.
- 2A claim must be made in writing within 60 days of the auditor's query, accompanied by written notice from the auditor stating the reason.
- 3Step 3 covers the audit preparation fee charged to the fund the report was prepared for, for the financial year the report relates to, evidenced by an itemised invoice from the accountant who prepared the fund. It is not limited to the additional work the query caused, and it does not extend to the auditor's own fee.
- 4The guarantee does not apply where: the property or fund details supplied to us were inaccurate or incomplete; the property was materially altered, improved or damaged after the valuation date; the report is used for a purpose it wasn't prepared for (mortgage security, litigation, insurance, family law); the auditor's concern relates to something other than our report; or the report is more than 12 months old at the audit date.
